Song Release: Hindu Logo Jaago (Rise With The Sun)

On the occasion of Indian Arrival 2011, the Swaha Gyaan Deepak Kirtan Mandali is pleased to release the original song “Hindu Logo Jaago (Rise With The Sun)”. This song was the winner of the group song category in Swaha’s Swadeshe Competition 2010. Lyrics: Rupatee Singh, Music: Umesh Persad, Vocal: Umesh Persad, Tabla: Dharam Jugool, Guitar: Jeremy Anil Mangalsingh. The lyrics and translation are included below.     I really love this song d meaning is sooo wonderful also. Pt Umesh keep up d good work the 1st time I heard the song I thought it was sung by an popular Indian singer. U have a gr8 voice

    Magnificently crafted lyrics and music. A pivotal song to truly inspire all people in this “new dawn” of ages. The song was sung with such devotion which brings me such joy! Jai Bhagwan!

    This is so wonderful, it’s mind blowing i love it so much that i have to listen to it everyday before i do anything. It’s really divine and inspirational, God bless you Pt. Umesh and keep up the great work. I really do hope i could have a chance to sing like this one day because i really love to sing but i only sing in my mandir.     Truly original and outstanding. I’m proud to be a Trini in NYC hearing this song. It has the feel of a Bollywood voice and music director with a distinct Caribbean element. It’s great to see that we’ve held on to our roots. Thank you for releasing such a gem of a song.
